Sun, 15 August 2004 15:54 I recently sold a 100kw engine to a guy who did this to his AE82 Corolla. The hybrid engine apparently had a load more torque through the rev range, but lost a cylinder quickly. I compression tested the sick motor and it still had compression in all four pots, but number one was down. I've since been told the head he put on there had been cooked a few times, prior to installation on the 100kw bottom end and still have not been told why the cylinder dropped out.
