I had the plate removed as there was rust around it and then when it came to rego the car I couldn't find it again. As I had the previous rego papers the RTA simply confirmed the chassis number was the same and it all went through. If you don't have the papers though it will most likely cause some grief but as everyone else has said, depends on the state authority. [Report message to a moderator]
