Have you got the original import/compliance papers? I have just spent the better part of a year with my car in reviews with Vicroads to establish it's history. It has cost me just over $1K to get the vehicle certified by a VASS signatory to prove ADR compliance. I'm lucky that I have been allowed to continue the registration at all. I bought my car through the trading post, all the numbers checked out, it passed RWC and the car was in great condition. I had a replacement Vicroads issued VIN number stamped into the strut tower, when I questioned it I was given no indication that something was wrong. I don't want to scare your potential buyers but this was my experience and as I been told "buyer beware". PS. I had owned the car for one year before I was contacted by the Victorian Police and subsequently Vicroads. [Report message to a moderator]
