That why i said change the pulley over from the 4ac onto the 4ag alternator, should be able to use the same belt then maybe??

hmmmmm good point, i never went as far into it as that, effort factor was too high  plus my alternator was working fine i had two 1000W amps running 2 12' subs and a set of 6x9's and i used to have that runing all the time the only time i notice a problem wsa when i had the headlights on my foot on teh brakes and whn the bass hit the head lights dimmed a bit and teh revs droped about 100-200 rpm idle was at 900rpm normally but give it a bit of throttle say 1500rpm and it was sweet as, i havent changed the battery in it since i bought it 3 years ago now, well i got a new battery for teh 4age just to be on the safe side . hey u wanna buy mine???  my 4ac's been outta the car for about a month now and was running sweet as before hand its done 178,000 k's PM me if ya want
