FMIC certainly makes a difference on a gt4 over a TMIC Very Happy

but it all comes down to $$$

Whilst not with personal experience, the answer is dependent on your budget. If you have over $1k spare, go FM, if not, stay TM and use a fan, plus put a bit of effort into some heatshielding to slow down the heatsaok and live with it until you have the dosh to go FM
