I just metered it and she's stuffed. Looks like a cell has died, she's putting out just under 10 volt. I get about 1 year service out of a battery. I've gone through 7 batteries in 8 years. I guess that's what happens when you drive your car rarely. I called Marshalls home service, but they can't get here til midday and prolly cost more than getting a battery myself. Well, I'm off to the shops. If you hear on the news tonight that a man in Castle Hill died of a heart attack carrying a car battery you'll know who it is. It's funny now. I always seem to find humour in bad situations and I shake my head and smile. Lucky for me I ate some spinach last night! seeyuzz river [Report message to a moderator]
