Well now that I'm at the end of my restoration project of my little Azzy, I thought I'd share with you the journey. I still have to take some final pics but you can get a fair idea of what the finished product will look like, I'll be adding some new pics as soon as the weather clears up.
ps. Check out the conversion page for pics of the restoration process
All the work was done in my dad's garage with absolutely no prior knowledge or experience (I knew which pedal made it go forward and which one made it stop - still working out what the third pedal does ).
This project was started on the 1st of Jan this year so has only taken me about 8 months (6 month is you subtract all the weeks and weeks of waiting for parts to arrive from Japan).
The paint is a black with red pearl, and looks so pretty in the sunlight. The interior is a maroon suede with black vinyl.
2TGEU engine (from a TE71 halfcut) - supercharger to come when I have some more cash and the inclination...
Extractors
Performance Tempest 205/45/16 wheels
Lowered suspension (sitting at home - waiting for the rego man to pass the car before lowering)
Full keyless entry (no locks), with immobiliser, and a few extra home made security goodies.
