shinybluesteel Forums Junkie I supported Toymods Location: melbourne Registered: June 2002	Re: Sidchrome, Kingchome,Stanley, KC tools Fri, 20 August 2004 02:20 i agree with oldcorrolas, never go smaller than 1/2 inch, any socket under 10mm you can undo with your fingers anyway i bought a "superpro" socket set from bunnings, it was around 130 bucks, very capable, my only complaing is that the ratchet handle is starting to lock up when the switch isnt in exactly the right spot, dunno if this is common. it came with AF sockets too, which i dont need, but who cares. also came with breaker bar, foot long extension, short extension, really short extension, ratched, two plug spanners, uni drive etc. spanners, i just buy the cheap sets from bunnings, then heaps of 10mm, 12mm or whatever for a dollar each, you will break a 10mm bolt before you break a 10mm spanner, most of the time you can get a socket onto a big bolt. as for screwdrivers, i would recommend the ones with the rubber handles, as they stick to your skin really well and you can get heaps more grip. i hate using the ones with smooth plastic handles. i dont have a screwdriver set, just one good phillips and a shitty clathead that i lost. a set should be pretty cheap VS buying individually [Updated on: Fri, 20 August 2004 02:24] [Report message to a moderator]
