i dunno if this helps, but on my AE86 i put a set of TRD ceramic coated extractors, and a 2.25" mandril system, and i noticed the difference! definitly think about getting them coated, price varies, but the outside temp of the headers get to about 1/4 the temp of an uncoated set, and hot gasses travel faster, plus it will reduce heat soak on your IC..all bonuses if you ask me!
