Hi Guys, new kid on the block here, ive looked at doing this to an ra28, was looking at the Camry motor cause it's a full alloy motor instead of cast block like in the Prado's, depends what you're putting it in, you could use engine mounts and pipework from a prado to change it to rwd configuration.
This motor is just a choped down lexus v8 (1uz) from what i can gather so it's pretty strong, the same motor is in the new Kluger, Prado(4litre) and the Hilux so should be arround for a while.
Was wondering what box would fit behind it but you've answered my question, i figured the supercharger option would be easier than going the turbo because of the pluming problems.
Just do a search on 1/3/5vz for info.
