maybe yours has been tightened...
there is only one realistic way to check without opening it up.
jack up one rear wheel. car in neutral.
try and spin the wheel by hand. if you can, it's not a locker.
if you have an excessively(nice) tight LSD, such as Garth, Simon and my self do, then you may possibly need to get a socket onto a wheel nut, and rotate with a ratchet/breaker bar in a clockwise direction to get it to 'break' LSD torque.
you can also tell from doing this at the torque setting your LSD 'breaks' at, ie. 'goes open' by using a torque wrench to do this.
