Ok i have a weird smokey problem thats causing me a headache (it really is.. fumes get to me big time!) i drive my ae86 every day and on the way to work it is fine, drives no worries and no smoke. When i drive home tho (without driving it all day) there is white/grey/blue smoke coming from the exhaust on trialing throttle only, oh and when pulling up to the lights.
same as today, i drove around for an hour or so, got it well and truly up to temp, parked it for another hour then drove around for a few more hours, soon as i started driving it after i had parked it i noticed it started smoking a lot again. esp when crusing at low speeds with very light throttle in say 3rd gear @ 30-40 kph. pours out the smoke to the poor car behind me.
FUCKED if i know what it is but when i did an oil change i noticed that my "oil" was 90% fuel! it reeeeeked of it and was runny as water.
changed the oil to a 15W 40 and instantly no smoke. but its slowly been building up.
i feel that the smoke is excess fuel washing oil off the bores.
now.. comments/thoughts all appreciated pls.
Its a CA18det with stock ECU, rb roller turbo and 0.6 bar boost, front mount, exhaust and thats it. does NOT blow smoke on accel or full load, pulls hard and clean also.
