Depends how bad you want to keep it. I seriously susgest that you keep all the good parts and wait for something else. Maybe it was meant to be and you will find an excellent shell for 500-1000
The way i see it is the more repairs the panel beater does the more things will be fucked up. It is possable for someone to fix the car but it will cost you and you will either get a shit job or a good job, but you wont know what you get until a couple of years.
I have to disagree with turbo28 that if you get it done properly there is no reason why it shouldnt last 10 years, but the trouble is finding someone that will do it properly...
and usually the best person is yourself
