The problem I see with rust proofing is its hard to get the stuff everywhere and in all cavities etc.
When we did mine we had the hoodlining out and pumped the stuff down into the pillars and inside doors, sills, rear 1/4 panels.
But then I got a bit of rust back just under where the fuel cap is. So maybe the proofing didn't get there, or maybe moisture got under the paint? not too sure...
I just reckon no matter how good the job is now and then some will find its way back.
I wish i could remember this better but my mate who is a panel beater was explaining to me that aged metal for some reason gets rust in it. Like little hairline spider cracks kinda. Said its hard to prevent this... Sorry that isn't very technical haha but I only recall him saying it and didn't really understand it.
