People call All the classic Celica's Mustangs in error.
Kind of like calling Honda's Fast.
It's pretty obvious why the liftback celica is known as the Mustang Shape as the designers at toyota were pretty lazy that year. The lines and tail lights of the lift backs are almost a direct knock off.
the TA22's RA/TA23 that are the other Celicas we get in AUS don't really resemble Mustangs but tend to get that blanket tag thrown on them.
