if you look at the pic of the hornet scoop, there is a base that sits on, this makes the scoop to high legally so the top part of the scoop must go straight to the bonnet to get a roadworthy, and then you 'could' put it back on
the car is going to the auto-electric tommorow morning to get a few more things done to it, as vb commdores never came out with that gearbox, there is some wiring issues there, like reverse lights and it starts in gear, needs a neutral safety switch hooked up....its all getting fixed tommorow
so basically the scoop is the only thing stopping it at the moment from being roadworthy, i got a spare standard bonnet here and airfilter as i was only going to swap them over to get a rwc and then swap back
the scoop issue isnt really an issue in my books its all bullshit, it dosnt obscure vision but the rule is there in case you hit a pedestrain and they roll over your bonnet and break some more bones on the scoop itself, BULLSHIT, if you hit somebody they are most likely to be dead anyway, what a way to make some easy money for the government
