The RA23 came later and has the 18R series engine, a longer nose (with the bulge in the hood - the TA22 had the flat bonnet) and 14 inch wheels. The TA23 was similar to the RA23 but had the 2T series engine. The RA23 and TA23 look the same - the main difference is the engine. Which one is better is mainly subjective. Some like the smaller size of the TA22, yet others like the shape of the RA23. The longer nose of the RA23/TA23 allows more options to fit 1G and other larger engines in the engine bay, whereas room is more limited in the TA22 series. People in this forum own TA22, RA23 (dunno about TA23, but I'm sure there are some), RA25 and RA28. I'm sure there are pics of these cars on the site somewhere so you can see the difference yourself. seeyuzz river [Report message to a moderator]
