Hmm - the diff is a clutch pack type, so you can probably take it to a diff specialist to get the clutches repacked/shimmed to take up any slack that it has.
The other thing is that it has a 4.3:1 ratio - which is very good for acceleration etc, but if you're driving up and down the freeway every day it's not so good for economy. A jza70 torsen diff will have a better ratio (3.9:1) for economy plus torsen's are supposed to be a little better than clutch-pack lsd's.
Springs at the moment are very low at front (I'd say a 2" drop) and a little lower at the back (not sure how low). The bilstein struts from the jza70r that you've got as spares have standard springs on them if you need to compare.
