Read my post again. I'm running one in a CARDBOARD BOX. Its been running for about 2 weeks now (v8supra.com) and hasn't burnt down the house. Point I'm making is that they don't make much heat.
I was running a side fan on it, but it was too noisy so now I'm running with only 1 fan on the chip (no fan on the PS as the PS is a 60w board not a 400w box like in gamer PCs).
A lot of those motherboards come out WITHOUT a fan for totally silent running. Now THAT is practical!
Again - They don't produce much heat at all.
These computers aren't built for games etc. They're either servers or DVD/divX boxes. I've got one of each and neither one has ever crashed.

Well i didnt know that did I, i just assumed they were regular desktop computers, im which case they would melt the shit, ffs i know mine would, as for your cardboard box well i didnt say anything about that, i just thought that with these car/cases becuase all of the stuff was bunched together then there wouldnt be much heat expulsion. If so would you please tell me how hot the core temps actually get??
