pro_ke Forums Junkie Location: adelaide Registered: April 2003	Re: 3K head to 4K block, wher from here Wed, 25 August 2004 01:58 510 for a recon head and big port job is about right use the 3k rocker gear thats already on the head and the 4k pushrods from the bottom end and everything will work fine might as well pull the cam out while the engine isnt in a car and the head is off and get repco or somewhere to do a 'performace street' type regrind - will cost about $90 you dont need to use a stronger block, the standard 4k bottom end is bulletproof already. just put a new head gasket on and away you go.
