pro_ke Forums Junkie Location: adelaide Registered: April 2003	Re: 3K head to 4K block, wher from here Wed, 25 August 2004 02:28 whatever cam is in th4k, just use that for your regrind if the head's come off a running car it probably doesnt need a reco. it doesnt 'need' to be ported either but it will help, its up to you really. call up camtech or go to your local repco and tell them what you want to do with the cam and they will point you in the right direction. you can use a DGV type weber or twin aisan carbs or if you feel the need you can put twin webers on, again its up to you. the mottoe here is how fast do you want to spend? you can build a fun 4k for only a few hundred dollars : 4k $100 big port head $50 cam grind $90 twin carbs or dgv weber $100 head gasket + manifold gaskets $100 oil + filter $20 coolant $10 [Report message to a moderator]
