Don't get me started on inconsiderate, uncoordinated F$%Ks Wits in car parks.
I was sitting in my previous corolla (which was straight as an arrow when I bought it with not many K's) which was parked perfectly. Tool pulls up beside me in an Excel opens the door and whack! Belts it straight into the side of my car, I yelled "Are you right!" The loser just looked and brushed me off and headed into the shop. I got out and went around to have a look at the dent and being one of the first dents (definitely the biggest someone had put in my car) I was fuming!
If he had at least acknowledged his fault I would have left it at that, but because he was a loser about it I kicked a dent in his drivers door and drove off. Fairs, fair.
I can appreciate a genuine accident, and how hard is it to say sorry??
It's because of people like this that we all can't have nice cars and keep them that way.....
Edit: I can appreciate Apollo's post (below) that this is a "coward" act, but on a number of other occassion in similar circumstances I have made greater efforts to "resolve" the issue with the person who created the problem, not once has it ended in anything better than them getting abusive and leaving in a hurry (over time you get over this type of stuff).
As for smacking the c$%t down, that would be awesome but I don't really want to be charged with assualt (nor have some psycho pull a knife or something).
On this particular incident looking back I probably would handle it differently now ( it was about 8 years ago or so, but I still wouldn't resort to belting them). Still it is only as slack as he was in creating the initial dent and walking off (like I said a sorry would have been sufficient), if I had not seen him do it I would have done nothing but be annoyed and he would have not given a toss about what he did.
I try to avoid confrontation/trouble/etc at all costs but sometimes under the wrong conditions there is a point where you just get over the whole "let it go/get walked all over thing".
Take it easy people.
Oh yeah and I always hunt down the "safe" car parks, it pisses off the girlfriend to no end having to search for them and then often walk further too!
N.B. I normally refrain from replying in these types of posts as people often judge harshly, which is fair enough. But unless people were there and know about the circumstance leading to and surrounding particular incidents don't judge too harshly.
