No. I don't trash cars for the hell of it. I wouldn't like someone to do it to my car, so I certainly wouldn't do it to theirs. Like I said in my post - when someone ran a shopping trolley into my car - there's no proof of who did it, so other than get pissed off (which I was) there is very little I can do except fume and swear. I don't find the closest car and trash it.
It comes down to basic respect for other peoples property. Just because someone doesn't give a flying phuck about their car, doesn't mean I have to feel the same way.
Shit happens and accidents happen and, as annoying as that is, you live with it. But thoughtless cocks who don't give a damn deserve to get a dose of their medicine handed back to them. But, only if I witnessed their act. Otherwise, all I can do is jump about and swear.
So, you don't need to seriously, or even unseriously, kill me now - 'cos, without seeing it with my own eyes, I wouldn't touch another car for random retribution.
