She was more than a little warm in the engine bay when I got to the top of the mountain though. There was a little smoke coming off the firewall insulation just in front of the turbo exhaust housing. This is due to the old 4A's proficiency at vibrating out the oil cap and dowsing the engine bay in oil. I have to say it's a lot wider on the parts where I took those photos than on most of the road, there's a couple of other really nice tight corners that I'd love to have photographed but it was really only 2 lanes with nothing on the edge. Mostly the surface quality was really good, I got the imprint of my hat button in the top of my head a couple of times but it was worth it.
