allencr Regular Location: tallahassee FL usOFa Registered: May 2002	Re: 18RG valve recession {not the seats} Thu, 26 August 2004 14:12 i still can't imagine why it looks like that, when it should be a smooth surface from the valve hitting the seat. yours looks like wear from being rotated. plus all those loose bits. i think i could only re-create that using an electric drill chucked to the valve stem. just curious!
