i used to do similar things when i was younger(about 12) after watching the x-files and locking my dogs up or taking the rubbish out...hear a noise and shit myself 
had a similiar experience about a year ago, just after i moved back to brisbane
driving home after being at a friends house, tired, needing to spill some urine. pull over on mount cotton road and do my business. just as i'm finishing i heard a howl then a deep growl...and proceeded to zip myself up fast and get in my car and drive...fast
after about 30 seconds of driving my leg felt a bit wet and i thought i'd pissed myself :/
worse...got a bit of my dick skin stuck in the zipper and ripped it a little....FUCK IT HURT
so when i got home, i threw those pants out, patched myself up and vowed only to wear button up jeans from then on
good news though, no permanent damage
