i had my worked 18R-C in my RA28 flogging 18R-G's, depending on what year model it came in, they go from 95-102 varying sources..
the mods done to my 18R were custom grind cam from tighe engeneering, twin side-drafts off an 18R-G on 2 custom manifolds, custom extractors, and just a 2" sports system..and it beat the pants off 18R-G's, it revved harder too! once the cam cam into it's range holy shit! (it was a big cam) but, as one could imagine, the dated 77' engine had it's days, and after much 8000+ rpm flogging (awsome induction note) a head gasket went, and drop in hp was noticable, when i sold the car i put all the stock stuff back in/on, it is still going as far as i know, with a new gasket ofcourse!
there a tough motor!
