good idea as i do with every coverssion, is to change every hoses and belts. change plugs,filter and use an engine oil flush as any 1g will have been sitting for awhile. if you use the radiator out of the cut, get it flushed and change the themostat as it will have been sitting without water for a long time. dont use coolant straight away just use water for a 1000k to get the crap out of the system then flush and use coolant. if it has over 100k km on the clock might be an idea to take the sump of and clean the pickup,as the japense are known for not getting services and not changing oil. mick p.s dont rev the engine just let it idle when you flush the oil, with a proper oil flush .i dont mean empty the oil and then idle it.get the injectors cleaned at the last moment when you are about to fire the beast up. clean inside the throttlebody. theres a bit more but im sure you get the drift if not PM me.
