Pod filter on 2002 Corolla

Hey all, just wondering if there was an issue when putting on a pod filter to my ZZ(whatever it is) 2002 Corolla? I see the airflow metre is actually on the air box, and not being a serious modder asides from stereos, i don't know what the deal is. Can i just take the whole arrangment off and whack on POD? Or do i have to buy a kit? Or is it over my head?
