haha my electric car used to munch the crap out of my petrol one! Maybe thats because i spent 4grand on it over a 3 year period  And that was getting most of the parts 1/3 the price from hong kong! It was a triple-layer carbon fibre chassis'd thing and the electric motor was more expensive than the third-hand 2T motor i bought for my old celica lol. But it wouldnt last long, a few meetings packing it with Commutator drops before every run, i'd change the brushes and machine the comm and it would last me about a total of a month if i was lucky. My petrol one was pretty quick too, used to line up cars off the traffic lights and used to beat everything up until about 90k's except for bikes, it was a Kyosho as well. The petrol cars are good fun, but they can be soo annoying with tuning and never wanting to start, or starting then you just finish putting the body on and they friggn stall again! Take the body off and do it all again, over, and over, and over..., plus the gas cars get soo dirty. I actually preffered the electric car anyway, i loved the sound of the high pitch whistling of the motor and the smooth sounding noise the electric motor and Novak speed controller made on full throttle. Just personal opinion i guess.
