my situation is similar but I have less proof I think.

I used to go to a place call xamrotoR and i got him to install my twin dump pipes and my celicamad boost controller (with instructions) He installed the boost controller incorrectly and then went and "tested/raped" my car. When I picked it up it was still hot from its last flogging as he wanted to take another customer for a ride in it Confused

I drove it for a total of 10 minutes and hit boost once and it wasn't very much. Then put it on the trailor took it to the drags, get to the drags and I now have a noise in the bottom end. that was 2 months ago and I am not in the process of swapping a new engine in.

I had to call him up for some advice on my auto as I had no one else to ring on a sunday and he says to me "make sure this new engine isn't detonating because it was detonating when I was driving it"

I don't think I can do anything as i drove it for 10 minutes between the time that he drove it and it died. Just a fucking waste of my time and money.

If anybody wants the name of the business PM me. It is on the sunshine coast and just about all of them are dodgy around here anyway.
