hey guys, thanx heaps for the advice, its really going to help me out.
The 18rc engine is still in good nick, plus i already have new piston rings, new big end, new gaskets n seals and a timing chain kit to put in.
There isnt really any rust at all, just the stuff that will rub off with a quick sand job.
Unsure about the Suspension condition, the diff has a bit of a noise but will get that fixed up at a transmission place in town(dad is going to pay for that).
The paint is perished, plus my bro did start to sand it back and strip it so it looks like shiat atm. There are a few tiny dings that the panel beater will have to fix up, nothing major tho.
I took out all dash and console components yesterday and carpet etc. so inside is absolutly bare.
dash is a bit messed up so ill have to get a new one made somewhere(any 1 know of a rough price for this?
Speedo dials are warped from heat
My father and i will be doing the carpet and stuff ourselves(is this a difficult job or do u think it is worth the cash to get it done properly)
oh and for the seals, there is a website that advertises new rubbers made for old cars, so ill be getting some new ones:)
