The chain dampener at the front of the head in between the cam gears is different for the 3T GTE compared to the 2TG. The 3T one is relieved for the oil breather.

Chains are the same.

Be careful when assembling with aftermarket con-rod big end bearings - the oil squirt holes for the thrust side of the pistons do not line up with some brandes and the bearings need to be drilled accordingly.

Rings should come with the pistons that you buy.
