These calipers also have a bunch of wire springy type things attached to the pins which hold the pads in.
As far as I can see only one of them is really important, that's the one which stops the two big pins falling out. Not sure what the other two do, but I fiddled with them until they sat in properly.

The 2 extra springs are just that, they are springs to hold the pads apart.
