only thing i know with 3 pipes and one is a fuel return is a mechanical fuel pump where the un-needed fuel just gets sent back to the tank, there is nothing you can really do to make your car use less fuel, only real option is a tune, make sure the carb settings are all correct, the correct spark plugs and gap size as well as timing advance,
there wouldn't be anything you can just connect to the motor to stop it from using fuel as thats going to reduce power and therefor you will have to push te gas pedal down even more so it won't work out,
i got my car dyno tunned, result was an increase in power and therefor i get an extra 80K's out of a tank.
i think you would have to be dreaming if you think there is a device you can connect into the fuel line to save on fuel.
only way to save fuel is to get the engine running to a point where its making the most power out of every drop of fuel and thats where you save on fuel consumption
