call an engineer or rta tech enquiries. spacers are illegal because by reducing the amount of nut threads clamping the wheels on, you're essentially making the car less safe. with these bolt on spacers, that is no longer an issue, and could probably be certified. however, i believe increasing lateral loading on bearings is also a concern. let us know if you do call, i'm interested in a response. i might fire an email off to the rta myself
