Now throw an EFI manifold in there and you will have problems. The side the exhaust is on is a non issue both 2 litre and 1600 exit on the same side. The 2 litre exhaust crosses over(mine did anyway) so you can easily link up. the exhaust you will probably put a new one in any way so its a non issue. [/quote] The brake master cylinder/booster is on the DRIVER'S SIDE, but I'd almost guarantee you'd want to change that setup (in the 1.6 van it is remote mounted with a long linkage at the front of the engine bay-is a pain in the arse if fitting twin sidedraughts to an escy 1.6)[/quote] This is the point I am trying to make, you need to piss off the brake booster assembly for any reasonable transplant other wise the EFI manifold will hit it. I suggest a dual master cylinder pedal box and no brake booster, either this or a remote booster system if you can find some where to put it. Either way its going to be a pain in the arse to setup. I would have put my 3tgt into my RS but sump was in the wrong position and there was no room for the booster.
