I found the factory TPS wasn't good enough to run TPS based, so I modified the TB's to take a Haltech TPS. This picture shows the factory TPS - I mounted the Haltech one in the same space (it took a little fiddling to get it to fit nicely) You should be OK to disconnect the vacuum hose from the regulator. You won't need the cold start injector. The other problem I had was the water outlet at the front of the head hit on the front thorttle body, I did a cut and shut to make it point down at about 45 degrees and it all worked out nicely.
