Yep what Craig said.
The 4age is around 86kw im pretty sure the later model 100kw is only available in FWD. So look around for the RWD 86kw, this would defeiantly be the best bang for your buck conversion. If you can weld then there shouldnt be too much hassle dropping it in. My mate and i are also looking into basically the same conversion 4age and a KE30. You will need to source a EFi fuel tank with inbuilt fuel pump or make up a surge tank with a couple of fuel pumps again if you have mad welding skills this should be relatively easy. If you don't its a good time to learn!. I'd budget about 750$ for the engine, loom, ECU and everything to make it go then prolly 350-400 for a gearbox i think t50's bolt up to 4age's? i dont know much about early corollas but you'd prolly want to get a new stronger diff i dont know whats better that would fit. my friend has a ke55 diff in his ke30 and it looks alot bigger so i guess its stronger. As for insurance and compliance yeh just ring around everywhere and get the best deals and stuff do this before the conversion obviously
