as far as i know: you need an engineers certificate if you change the engine mounts,crossmembers, gearbox ect you need a blue slip with the new engine, which i think includes noise/emissions test then u head to the RTA to wait in line for 2 hours and thats it ps dont forget the much fucking around/frustration/money spent of the actual conversion
