TA-022 Forums Junkie I Supported Toymods Location: Glenmore Park, NSW Registered: March 2004	Re: carby cleaner problems Mon, 06 September 2004 13:04 2t aisin carby does have vaccum activated secondaries. same problem i only just got mine going. in the secondary chamber you will notice a small hole (pin head or smaller) just below the jet on the side closest to the valve cover. as air passes past it creates a vaccum in the diaphgram next to the choke housing. this diaphgram lifts the secondary lever to realease the secondary butterfly. secondary opens according to accelerator position and the amount the lever is lifted by the diaphgram. wiring open means the secondary will come on at a certain throtle position and not when under a certain load ie higher revs. Hope this helps Nathan [Report message to a moderator]
