My question which is elsewhere is converting a 4AC carbie front wheel drive engine to an EFI 4AGE. What will I need??? Engine? Yes, EFI and computer? Yes Wiring Loom? Yes. Is that all? I did a 3TGTE into a T18 in 1985 and it was easy. As long as I get the wiring loom and airflow meter and engine computer the rest should be easy unless Toyota use quaint thinks like O2 sensor in exhaust pipe or an EGT in the catylitic convertor. Speaking of that is the catylitic converter in the AE82 up to the 86 KW 4AG output/gases and what about compliance and an engineering report? Does the clutch fitted to the 4A fit the 4AG and what size and spline is a new plate to fit the existing 5 speed gearbox in my AE82 circa LATE 1986 and does the air intake tubing and airfilter box from later fit easily in the already crowded AE82 engine bay.
