As mentioned, I only just purchased the car. The damage was already on it. At a glance I'd say it's been scraped pretty hard against an immovable object (eg concrete pole) as there's a little scratching to go with it. Previous owner has taken to it with a hammer and knocked it out to make it look (arguably) better. If they hadn't done this it would be an even easier repair!

If noone takes it I'll just sit on it for a while until my other one's running and do it up then. Just a matter of storage...
