I re-trimmed my whole car - TA22 - myself and I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have some sort of sewing background (I used to work as a clothing tailor). You will need to borrow an industrial sewing machine that can handle vinyl, 12mm of foam padding and a backing cotton (although not essential), which cost me about $150 a week.

But it did save me a crap load of money. I retrimmed my whole car (front + back seats and roof) in a macro suede for about $500.

If you do go ahead with it yourself send mt a PM and I can give you some tip/trick.
