I think you'll find trying to get more go out of the 12R is not really worth it...
They are an old motor...
For simplicity i'd go for an 18R-C and W50 conversion...
and to get the parts you just need to buy an old celica ! (RA23-RA40)
This will mean cutting a hole in the tunnel for the shifter, but that shouldn't be much of an issue. and you'd just remove the linkages and shifter from the steering coloumn...
You'd probably find that the 12R from stock is good for about 60-80Hp (not much!) And yours is probably tired as heck !
the 12R was never designed to make lots of power ! and you'll find it hard (impossible?) to get performance parts for it !
