If you try and find one without rust you''ll be looking for a very long time (having just re-read your post though that garaged one sound a minter). The tailgate will ALWAYS go on a ceilca/2.8 supra of that year, and the best thing you can do is live with it and do your best with a good repair. If you do find one without much rust, just give it time, and you'll soon see it appear. It is possible to cut it out, reshape, repair and respray but it will never be great. Rear sills, area around the inside of the tailights, and around the petrol flap are also common locations for rust.
