Ra28Freak Regular Location: Brisbane CBD Registered: September 2004	Re: 1g-crankshaft Q's Sun, 12 September 2004 13:34 I have thought about a new bottom end but it now looks like i have a friend that i can get forged pistons cheap from which sounds the go so i may as well go the whole deal the guy at the engineering shop i am sussing out said they will help mind replacement bearings though the acl cat painful i know but after done i will write down everything he seemed assured they will find something to fit and with the crank i already wanted to get it balanced and hardened perhaps so the only real question to be asked is the cos of repairing the journal worth buying a new crank ? i think not after reading a bit though anyhow guys this is where im starting my 1g buildup will be back again soon to update on where i go with it and thanx so far with all the opinions good to see someone else's for a change my brothers have no clue lol and im yet to find many people about that know much if anythin....
