4AGE harmonic balancer bolt torque spec, anyone? Sun, 06 October 2002 09:41 Go to previous message
The toyota 4AGE book says 101ft lb, which is frickin tight (yes toit .. toit loik a toiga Razz ) but that broke the last bolt and I don't want to wait a week for another one, again. Sad

Is 101ftlb a misprint, or...? It doesn't look like it needs to be too tight, as everything attatched to it fits in a groove on the crank, so it's not holding anything on by clamping force, just keeping it on the end of the crank. Any ideas what it should be torqued to?

cheers!
