its a PITA to put a decent stereo in.
I used the stock bracket for the head unit, though it left a gaping hole where the double din used to cover. Ill someday get around to replacing it 
4 x 4" speakers (and a sub if you can work out where to put it) is pretty much all you can fit. the only other way is by making a rack at the back of the car to sit the speakers on. I cant do this in mine as i have the targa roof...
I've been considering cutting holes near the armwrests in the doors for some 6.5" but i dont really want to fuck the interior..maybe someone else can offer suggestions as well, as i want something a little better to listen to
