Supralux, thats basicaly what the BDA dude told me at a training night. except he said the slots where mainly to 'wipe' the pad clean more than get rid of the gasses (which was the cross drilled holes job).
their new 'Kangaroo paw' internal cooling design looks rather trick, is spose to help cooling of the rotor much better than the old vane type.
and the new 2 part rotors with aluminium hat are very nice indeed.
